Buster’s eyes met Clancy’s, and a silent understanding passed between them. Clancy looked back at the woman. “Buster here is quite the tracker. He’s offered to help us find Max. If you’re willing, maybe we can find him together?”

The woman’s eyes lit up with a mix of hope and gratitude. “Oh, that would mean the world to me.”

For hours, Buster led the way, his nose to the ground, following Max’s scent trail. The woman trailed behind, her anxiety slowly transforming into anticipation. Finally, Buster stopped, his tail pointing straight up like a triumphant flag. And there, nestled behind a cluster of bushes, was Max.

Tears of joy streamed down the woman’s face as she rushed to scoop up her lost dog. She hugged Max tightly, whispering words of relief and happiness. Clancy patted Buster’s head, a proud smile on his face.
