Here is the summary of A Very Cheeky Christmas by Kat Baxte

In the quaint town of Mistletoe Valley, Christmas was always a lively affair. But this year, mischief was brewing, courtesy of two mischievous elves named Jingle and Jangle. They were renowned troublemakers in the North Pole, and this year, they’d been assigned to assist Santa in Mistletoe Valley.

As the town prepared for the annual Christmas festival, Jingle and Jangle couldn’t resist spicing things up a bit. Armed with their sack of pranks, they set out to add a touch of mischief to the holiday cheer.

Their first target was the town square’s gigantic Christmas tree. With a mischievous grin, Jingle whispered to Jangle, “Let’s give this tree a makeover!” Using their magic dust, they turned the tree’s lights into a riot of colors, flashing and changing at a dizzying speed. The townsfolk gasped as the tree transformed into a disco ball of festive chaos.

Giggling at their handiwork, the duo dashed off, leaving behind a puzzled crowd trying to keep up with the frenzied light show.

Next on their list was the annual gingerbread house competition. Sneaking into the kitchen where the entries were displayed, they sprinkled a little bit of their magic dust. As the judges approached, the gingerbread houses sprang to life! Miniature gingerbread people danced around, icing snowflakes fell from the roofs, and candy cane fences magically stretched taller. The judges couldn’t help but join in the gingerbread revelry, much to the elves’ delight.

Their pranks continued throughout the day. They switched the labels on the stockings so the children received gifts meant for their parents, causing amusing confusion on Christmas morning. They also rearranged the letters on the town sign, spelling out hilarious but nonsensical messages, much to the amusement of the townspeople.

However, as evening fell and the Christmas Eve celebrations began, Jingle and Jangle realized that their mischief might have gone a bit too far. The townspeople were bewildered, unsure whether to be amused or exasperated by the chaos caused by the mischievous elves.

Feeling a pang of guilt, the two elves decided it was time to make things right. They used their magic to bring back the Christmas tree’s traditional charm, fixed the labels on the stockings, and restored the town sign to its original message.

As they watched the townsfolk laugh and marvel at the now-traditional festivities, Jingle and Jangle realized that the true magic of Christmas was not in their pranks but in the joy and togetherness it brought to everyone.

Just as the clock struck midnight, a faint jingle echoed through the air. Santa appeared, a twinkle in his eye, and with a hearty laugh, he praised the mischievous duo for reminding everyone about the importance of laughter and fun during the holiday season.

With a wink and a nod, Jingle and Jangle bid farewell to Mistletoe Valley, knowing that they’d brought a cheeky but memorable Christmas to the town.

As they returned to the North Pole, they promised Santa to use their mischievousness more wisely next year. After all, a sprinkle of laughter was the truest gift of all.
